A streamer made in the shape of a carp that was displayed in the front yard of a home on the Boys' Festival, which began among samurai families in the Edo period, to pray for the healthy growth of boys. It is also called a Satsuki nobori. There is also a theory that those displayed outdoors are called "koinobori" and those displayed indoors are called "kazari-koi". Why not use it as a tapestry decoration in your room?

(In order to bring out the soft texture of the fabric, the finishing press is done lightly. This is why some wrinkles may remain. Thank you for your understanding.)

Fabric: 100% cotton (Oka fabric used)
Size: Approx. 33cm x 92cm
Dyeing technique: Chusen (white background + gradation dyeing)
