[Traditional] Seigaiha (Red Bellflower)

Seigaiha ripples are an auspicious design depicting gentle waves continuing endlessly, and are also used in gagaku and Noh performances. They represent a wish for "eternal happiness," and the overlapping patterns, resembling a fan with a widening edge, are considered auspicious. They are representative of geometric patterns that have been seen since ancient times not only in Japan but also in Egypt, Persia, and other parts of the world. At nugooNEXT, we've dyed this basic pattern in a crimson purple color that exudes a Japanese vibe.

(The finishing press is done lightly to bring out the soft texture of the fabric. This means that some wrinkles may remain. Thank you for your understanding.)
